The Trident Fantail

New fold up design allows the whole Chassis to be                                                   kept intact for transportation

Multi- position main Boss allows for  un-hindered adjustment while still retaining maximum stability, main Thumb Screws have "Tommy Bar" portholes in each, allowing for  3mm Allan Key fitment to nip up a lille more tight if required

Built in rear folding Buzz Bar, allowing for a narrow easy to transport Chassis and the ability to adjust the Axis/angle independently each side

             The Trident Fantail

As requested by many, the Trident Fantail is back –  and a totally new design.  Any Angler worth his salt will tell you “Always point your Rods directly in the direction were your Rigs are”, and there’s another any Pike Angler will tell you “Make sure you can walk between your Rods in case you get a take on the middle Rod”

Hence to achieve these you end up using a set of single Bank Sticks, which if your moving swims a lot or doing quick sessions, it’s a right time consuming pain in the arse to do!

The original Trident Fantail was designed to offer an alternative in the form of a directionally adjustable Pod set up.  But I’ll be the first to admit that it was also right pain in the arse too! With 10 separate parts to assemble, line up and adjust.

If I was to make a new version of the Fantail is had to eradicate the set up problem, but also meet the needs of many Anglers begging for a set up big enough to allow the Butt Ring to be positioned on the inside of the Bite Alarm (This greatly improves Indication, safety and eliminates false bleeps)

Well this new Trident Fantail is a proper “Beast”, with a one piece folding Chassis design meaning you only need to remove the Bank Sticks now, which most do anyway keeping the Alarms/Butt Grips fitted stored in one of the many cases readily available. The Chassis folds to 7” wide and 52” long, a specific size to take advantage of the Brolly Pouches all Rod Holdalls and Quivers have that hardly anyone ever uses, well they have a use now.

Considering the Chassis is massive, it still only weighs 1.7kg, this is achieved by the extensive use of Titanium, forming an extremely strong ridged assembly.

This is one serious bit of kit it ,designed purely for angling with no gimmicky crap involved at all, It easily allows the Rod’s Butt ring to be placed on the inside of the Alarm if desired, measuring 44” between centre to centre (Butt Grip to Alarm), it’s also capable of splaying the outer Rods out a distance of between 5 and 6ft dependant on the Rod's being used spec , yes that’s feet!

All adjustments are via the four Thumb Screws located in the special Stainless Steel Boss, that also hold the middle back Bank Stick, the outer Bank Sticks locate in shorter Arms that are also position adjustable in a arc, set parallel  = 16" wide     Not only that, there’s a total of eight positions the sort and long Tie-Bars can be located into, doubling the adjustment range yet again!  All positions are numbered for reference.

Fitted with 11” long Back and 81/2” long front (Closed length's of the Bank Sticks that is) Option of “Total Titanium” or Dreadnought Type Bank Sticks, with Augers or Points, Thumb Screws or Grub Screws fitted.

~ I know I will get asked “Can a shorter version be made at request? “ Yes no problem at all.
