Originally designed for my own personal use for Pike fishing many years  ago to combat the problem when fishing three Rods and the middle of rattles off!  No big issue when Carp fishing but when Piking most of the time using dead baits close in that's 3 pairs of trebles to tangle up - hence when ever possible you will see Pike anglers with their Rods spaced out. This was not possible on the stone banked reservoir I was fishing, with the Fantail design I could easily stand between the outer Rods and land angry Pike with little fuss. It soon became apparent when using a Fantail for Carp fishing that the design also gave the advantage of being able to point each Rod individually directly at the Rig. 

Both the Titanium & Carbon shafted versions with Stainless Steel fittings are basically exactly the same, both are fitted with the latest 81/2" & 11" Std Defiant Bank Sticks with all the build options available for no extra cost 

The major up-grade with this latest version is the chunky one-piece 3 Rod Buzz Bar, the fitting of this Bar stiffened up the whole Fantail Chassis even more - the Fantail is already the most stable platform for your Rods you can have thanks to the sheer size of the footprint + six points of contact with the deck. 

For transportation a Trident Fantail breaks down to -
